Matthew Powers

Matthew Powers is a creative type who started out his early career in the wrong business (sales). He finally quit his job to follow his passion in home construction, and has never looked back.  He eventually ventured out on his own and started ModTekton, a modern construction firm in Austin, Texas.

Creative Collaboration

Over the years, Matthew has established positive working relationships with architects, designers, landscape architects, custom lighting designers, welders, cabinetmakers, and all other sorts of independent creative types you never knew you needed for your construction projects. Because they are all freelance, they can provide as little or as much collaboration on each project, tailored to meet the different needs of each specific client.

ModTekton is committed to creating unique, beautiful, living spaces at reasonable prices. (If you want to spend more money than is necessary, we can do that too.  But we'll try to talk you out of it first.)
